He has served in this capacity since 1995. In the past, he served as the Minister of Music and played the Rhythm and Lead Guitar.   He is married to Sis. Janice Smith. His granddaughter Sis. Najee Jackson attends church with him. Before going into the ministry, he was ordained as a Deacon in January 2005. He attended Liberty University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion.  He served in the Military 34 years and 11 months and retired as a Sergeant Major. He is the author of “If the Clouds Be Full of Rain…” His favorite scripture is Joshua 1:9, “When Christ calls a man, He bids him come and die; to become what Jesus Christ is by nature.”
